Madame Tussauds Located on the 6th Floor of Siam Discovery, Madame Tussauds Bangkok is destined to be the must do attraction for all visitors to the area. With its brand new facade and striking contemporary architecture, the building provides an iconic new landmark for the Siam area.

At Madame Tussauds in Bangkok you will have the chance to come up close to celebrities, world leaders and sporting heroes. Divided into sections as history, leaders, arts and science, sports, music, film, TV and Red Carpet is a collection of wax statues from famous people from across the world plus a number of Thai celebrities.

The wax figures The first section is history, where you will find wax figures of Lady Diana, Mao Tse-tung, the communist founder of the People’s republic of China, Mahathir Mohamad, former prime minister of Malaysia and Mahatma Gandhi, leader of the independence movement in India known for his non violent protests.

Have your photo made with president Obama Among the leaders are Queen Elisabeth, Sukarno, Aung San Suu Kyi, Russian president Vladimir Putin and the Dalai Lama.

One of the highlights of Madame Tussauds Bangkok is the display of the Oval Office at the White House, where you can sit down behind the “resolute desk” with president Obama and Michelle Obama standing behind you.

Arts, science and sports stars At arts and science you will meet composer and pianist Ludwig von Beethoven and Albert Einstein, known for his theory of relativity. Wax figures of some of the greatest sports stars include Wayne Rooney, Serena Williams and golfer Tiger Woods.

Music, film, TV and Red Carpet Among the music celebrities are Beyonce Knowles and Michael Jackson, the “King of Pop”. Meet Spiderman, Wolverine and Bruce Lee at the film section. The TV section exhibits a very life like Oprah Winfrey as well as Thai star Anne Thongprasom. Meet Will Smith, Nicole Kidman, Jackie Chan and George Clooney at the Red Carpet.

Authentic history section The authentic history section provides some information about the real Madame Tussaud, who in 1777 created her first wax statue of French writer Voltaire and opened her fist museum in London in 1835.

Have a wax figure of your hand made Near the exit is a stand where you can have a wax figure of your hand made in the color you get to choose (at extra cost) and a souvenir shop.

Location and how to get there Madame Tussauds wax museum is located on the 9th floor of Siam Discovery shopping center on Rama I road. The easiest way to get there is by BTS Sky train. Exit at the Siam station, which is on both the Sukhumvit and Silom line.

Opening hours Madame Tussauds Bangkok opens daily from 10 am until 9 pm. Last entry at 8 pm.

For children Under 2 years old will be Free of charge.
